The Twelve Days of Zombies

So people ask me where I get the ideas for my music...ok, well, they DON'T, but if I were a famous rock star, they would, so pretend with me for a moment...

So people ask me where I get the ideas for my music, that is, they might ask if, that is, they would if, that is...perhaps I should just get on with it...

So for this PARTICULAR idea, my brother-in-law-in-law sends me a link to his Amazon Wish List, you know, for Christmas, and it's lots of zombie-related material.  Having recently been playing Left4Dead sporadically over the past few months, I've also got zombies on the brain...so in a flash, I write out full lyrics for a zombie parody of Have a Holly Jolly Christmas.  Then Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.  And then, finally, The Twelve Days of Christmas.

So the first two are copyrighted, and it would take a bit of work to get permission to sell parodies of those songs, I decide to start with The Twelve Days of Christmas, very much in the public domain.  So with Left4Dead and a genre of zombie shooter games, The Twelve Days of Christmas are born.  Enjoy!

Edit: The Kings of Carnage, just ten days ago (apparently, shortly AFTER I tried to search for zombie christmas songs), have a whole album of zombie Christmas songs, sung by zombies.  Perhaps I need to a musical war with the zombie singers, you know, like rapper wars!  Here's a link to their album on iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/a-very-zombie-christmas-a/id409674672
